The Futurefleet™ Mobile Data Terminal

The Futurefleet mobile data terminal (MDT) provides transport operators with powerful GPS-enabled real-time capabilities in a modern, stylish, and compact design.

In addition to driving reliable real-time passenger information (RTPI), the Futurefleet MDT also enables a range of real-time services for both drivers and operators, including schedule adherence notifications, AVL and comprehensive web-based real-time operations reporting.

The mini MDTʼs 5” TFT LCD screen enables a razor-sharp color display. Its durable touchscreen technology also provides drivers with a simple, reliable and user-friendly interface.

A range of convenient mounting options are available, so that the sleek and compact mini MDT can be easily, securely and rapidly installed in a wide range of transport vehicles.

An optional ticketing capability and printer for fast on-board ticket printing is also available.

Schedule Adherence

As each Futurefleet MDT is GPS-enabled, it is possible to accurately sense the movements of each vehicle. This means that your drivers are provided with location-based schedule adherence information as they drive, thereby reducing bus bunching and improving the predictability of services for your passengers.

As the on-schedule performance of your fleets improves, so will your ridership numbers and your customers' satisfaction with the services you provide.

The Futurefleet MDT enables your drivers to issue tickets quickly via a simple touch-screen interface. All of the ticket categories and prices you update online are instantly updated on each Futurefleet MDT.

Drivers can access detailed mid-journey and end-of-journey reports, as well as review the number of passengers that should be on-board at any time.

Operators can access detailed journey, revenue and passenger load reports in real-time or retrospectively via Futurefleet's online interface.

Daily Sales Reports

A ticket sales report is automatically issued each day to operators, providing a detailed breakdown of tickets sold and revenue. Operators can drill down to view information about which tickets are selling best on each route, or which stop locations are the busiest.
